There is prompt registration which has to be met by every student in the first two weeks after commencement of the semester.

Failure to meet this would result into payment of a fine of sh25,000. Also every semester, each student is forced to pay sh50,000 for computer studies, although they can even leave the university without studying computer, due to insufficient facilities and other problems.

There are those who have been denied the chance to register even if they have fully paid their tuition fees. They might not even get a refund of their money, since administrators say that it is their fault.

The Ministry of Education should intervene and help.
