A British official has told the Reform Agenda (RA) that Uganda under the Movement is one of the most successful countries that Britain and other European Union development partners give aid.

A British official has told the Reform Agenda (RA) that Uganda under the Movement is one of the most successful countries that Britain and other European Union development partners give aid.
Tim Hitchens, the head of Africa Department (Equatorial) in the foreign and Commonwealth office was on Monday meeting RA officials in London during their two-week tour of Britain and the US.
Hitchens who has been in office for three months, said Uganda is successful.
Exiled RA activist Okwir Rwaboni, RA general secretary Geoffrey Ekanya, environment secretary Kagulire Ssebowa and Budadiri West MP Nandala Mafabi attended the meeting.
Meanwhile, British MP Tony Baldry, the chairman of the House of Commons Select committee for international development has promised to lobby fellow MPs to support the RA cause. Ends
