THE Indian High Commissioner, Deepak Ray, has said his country will continue providing Ugandans with scholarships for studies in his country.

He told members of staff of the Management Training and Advisory Centre (MTAC) in Nakawa on Wednesday that he would see how to extend more scholarships for them to go and train in India.

He was handing over a donation of 95 textbooks worth sh1.176m.

“We do have a programme of training middle level professionals in India. We offer a certain number of scholarships which are processed through the Ministry of Education and Sports. It will be possible for us to look into MTAC needs and see how to accommodate you under that programme,” Ray said.
