JINJA — The municipal council has banned the use of charms such as pipe smoking, cigarettes and use of charcoal stoves in markets, saying these could be the cause of the frequent fire outbreaks. The town clerk, David Naluwairo, said traders smoke the pipes to lure customers. He was recently addressing traders at Jinja town hall.

Jinja council builds block
