CORPORATE League title contenders uganda telecom, Threeways and Stanbic Bank put up outstanding performances in their league games that were played Sunday at Namboole.
The title favourites won all three of their encounters of the day with the most memorable win coming from threeways who whitewashed Surgipharm 6-0.
Uganda telecom and Threeways won out rightly against KPMG, New Vision, Nedloyd Kampala Casino and Surgipharm. They settled for 38, 34 and 28 points respectively.
New Vision had a disastrous outing with only one win of the day.
The best performers of the day won themselves prizes. A. Kanakulya from Threeways shipping services was men top scorer with six goals while I. Namapii from UBL top-scored among ladies with three goals.
Stanbic bank’s A. Otete and Allied bank’s J. Aik were man and woman of the day.
Nile Bank and Barclays bank did not show up. The league resumes on July 27.
