THE Straight Talk Foundation has received volunteers from Edinburgh University in the United Kingdom.
The six students will tour 14 schools in Tororo, Rukungiri and Ntungamo districts.
Their mission is to emphasise Straight Talk messages of abstinence, condom use and safer sex practices.
Straight Talk, a news letter aims at teaching primary and secondary school students about safer sex.
Straight Talk has cooperated with Edinburgh since 2000. The partnership aims at helping the volunteers and people acquire new knowledge, skills and experience.
It also aims at promoting international understanding through projects focused on building friendship, trust and respect between the volunteers and people in Uganda.
Last year, nine Edinburgh students offered to do voluntary work with Straight Talk for six weeks. They donated sports kit and text books to over 16 schools in Kampala, Tororo and Busia.
