CHARGING Rhinos look set to snatch victory today from the Rubaga based Miracle team that has been faced with a crisis.
The Miracle team that is in seventh position on the table, meets the Rhinos this weekend at the YMCA. They need to win the MTN-FUBA first division league tie to avoid the dreaded relegation zone.
With five games in hand, Miracle has so far managed a 5-10 record and are now faced with the task of winning all their next encounters if they are to maintain their first division place.
Miracle’s line-up shall be boosted by their veteran skipper Chris Kyebambe, Moses Wasswa and point guard Chris Ocamringa, who are all national team prospects.
Rhinos on the other hand come into the match with more determination after they were edged 59-54 by the Nkumba-Marines two weeks ago.
The Rhinos will be hoping to tighten their grip on second position that they hold at the moment.
A win today shall provide a big boost to their playoff bid as the league winds down.
Kampala International University continues their championship countdown when they come up against bottom placed Sharing Youth who are still win-less.
There will be no action tomorrow.
