Kenya will take on Rwanda and People's Republic of China in friendly matches ahead of next year's Africa Cup of Nations finals in Tunisia, PANA learnt last Wednesday. The acting KFF secretary-general, Allan Chenane said Harambee Stars, will play Rwanda in Kigali on September 12.The date of the encounter with China is not yet decided.

ITF picks 2
TENNIS
ANTHONY Abok and Patrick Luyinda have been nominated by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) to attend a Level-2 officiating course that starts on Wednesday in Mombasa. The are the most experienced local officials and will get the ITF White badge.

Libyan bid
SOCCER
Libya and Tunisia launched a joint bid on Friday to co-host the 2010 soccer World Cup, due to be held in Africa for the first time, according to PANA. The two countries had submitted separate initial bids along with Egypt, Nigeria, Morocco and favourites South Africa. The bidders must present final bid documents to FIFA before the end of September.
