BUSIA — Crocodiles in River Sio have killed nine residents of Budimo in Lumino sub-county at the Kenya-Uganda border. A 20-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman were among the dead. The district councillor, John Wafula Ogumbo, appealed to the Government for help.
Frenchmen hospitalized
JINJA — Three French soldiers are admitted in Jinja Hospital after their hired car UAD 967 rammed into a billboard near the Owen Falls Dam bridge in Njeru town council recently. Lt. Stephene Dorel, Adjutant Michael Argouarch and Commandant Pechoka Henin, all attached to the Entebbe French Forces base, were heading to Jinja town. Traffic boss Daniel Zeba said the car was speeding.
