Two killed
IGANGA – Two people died on Saturday when a car collided with a motorcycle before crashing into a swamp near Busembatia. District traffic officer Andrew Ejoyat identified the dead as Muhamed Itire a boda-boda rider and Frank Balaba. He said the car driver, Umar Simba, was in Mbale hospital.

Sh59m given
BUSIA – The Government has released sh59m to the district for measles immunisation. The exercise will take place from October 15 to 19. This was revealed by the LC5 chairman, Wanyama Oundo during the burial of Anjela Mangeni in Masaba sub-county recently.
