Kabaka Ronald Mutebi and the Nnabagereka, Sylvia Nagginda, have returned home from South Africa (SA) after a weeklong visit during which they wooed investors to Uganda.

Mengo Minister of the Royal Treasury Apolo Makubuya said investors from SA had proposed to come to Uganda next year and study the investment environment.

He said over 50 investors met Mutebi on Monday in Durban and discussed the opportunities available in Uganda.

Mutebi said his major resource was the vast land in Buganda that could be leased to the investors.
The Zulu king, Godwin Zwelitini, had invited the royal couple to SA to attend the Zulu annual reed dance festival.

The couple who returned at 1:30pm aboard South Africa Airways, was received at Entebbe International Airport by Katikkiro Joseph Ssemwogerere.
