The Lukiiko yesterday directed Central Broadcasting Service (CBS), a Buganda kingdom FM radio station, to immediately stop running adverts for Property Masters, a real estate company.

Members said it was very ironical and contradictory for Kabaka Ronald Mutebi and Katikkiro Joseph Ssemwogerere (right) to discourage people from, selling off their land and yet the kingdom radio station continued running Property Master Advertisement that encourage people to sell off their property especially land.

The Lukiiko attacked Property Masters for what they termed as a deliberate move to deprive the people in Buganda of their land.

Ssemwogerere and his deputy Kaaya Kavuma in their reports expressed concern over the dealings of Property Masters.

The proprietor, Kasulu, on Sunday suspended running advertisements on the CBS radio following a row between Mengo officials.

Kasulu said that he saw no reason for continued paying for advertisements on CBS when Mengo officials were attacking his company. He also refused to disclose the amount so far spent on CBS advertisements for the last two years. “What I have decided is not to exchange words with Mengo officials. And professionally I can’t disclose the amount involved with my clients,” Kasulu said.
