AT least three Non Government Organisat-ions (NGO) have donated vehicles and cycles worth over sh200m to Masindi district.

AT least three Non Government Organisat-ions (NGO) have donated vehicles and cycles worth over sh200m to Masindi district.
The equipment is to aid the district in the measles immunisation campaign.
Bujenje MP Kabakumba Masiko handed over three vehicles, nine motor-cycles and 71 bicycles to the health staff at Masindi stadium recently. Kabakumba was launching the measles immunisation exercise.
The NGOs are; Elton John Foundation, TASO and Sight Savers International.
Kabakumba said, development partners are facilitating us and the Government has paid for the vaccines.
She said the sub-county that will emerge with the highest number of immunised children would get a prize.
She assured parents that the vaccines were safe. She said they should embrace the exercise.
