Interviews for Pallisa district chief administrative officer (CAO) and deputy posts flopped last week.
Four candidates for the CAO post had been called for the interviews on October 6 but were dispersed by the district service commission (DSC) boss Edward Wakida.
Short-listed candidates include Kabale district deputy CAO Okiror Iporotum, Pallisa district assistant CAO Christopher Walusansa, Tororo deputy town clerk James Idewait and Noel Higenyi.
Pallisa district chairman Bob Wasugirya on Thursday said the interviews could not be held because the ministry and the public service commission did not send a technical team to conduct them.
