OFFICIALS of the National Freedom Party presidential policy commission and their supporters have demanded the inclusion of cultural and religious leaders on the negotiating team that will chart the way forward for multiparty poliics in Uganda.

A SECURITY guard was yesterday charged with stealing a mobile phone.

Hassan Nuwewenka, 27, an employee of Dot Services Security, denied the charge before Nabweru Court Grade One magistrate, Charles Nuwewenka.

Widows plead for property

WIDOWS in Mpigi district have appealed to the Government to give them authority over their late husbands’ estates.

This, they said recently , would protect them from greedy relatives who grabbed their property.
