Tenants of Zawedde Mulinda of Makindye, were shocked when the son of their landlady stole a saucepan full of food from a charcoal stove, belonging to one of the tenants.
Zam Nagujja who rents one of the landlady’s rooms prepared her favourite luwombo dish on the veranda due to the lack of space. She then retired to her room.
Meanwhile, the landlady’s son who had gone hungry for the whole day, stole the saucepan of food.
Nagujja searched all the rooms in the building, but when she reached the landlady’s room her son tried to prevent her from searching it. She entered the room however, and found the food hidden under the bed.
As a punishment, the boy was forced to eat all the food in the saucepan and ended up vomiting.
