MP donates orphans tools
KAYUNGA - The district woman MP Victoria Kakooko Ssebagereka has donated scholastic materials worth sh3.1m to five orphans’ schools in Nazigo sub-county, Ntenjeru South.
The materials included books, school fees, textbooks, uniforms, pens and pencils, schools sweaters, cups, plates, clothes, blankets, bedsheets and exercise books. The schools, which benefited included Kisa, Nateta, Nazigo, Nazigo demonstration and Kikonyogo.
Mugwanya OBs meet
WAKISO- OBs and OGs of Mugwanya Summit College in Kyengera, Wakiso, are for a re-union party on December 15.
The occasion is expected to take place at the school premises. Pius Kiyaga, an old student who is also the chairman of the organising committee, revealed this on Thursday. He was addressing students at a function organised to wish well all S6 students who completed their examinations this year.
He said the party would focus on a fundraising drive for a library.
Since its inception in 1993, the school has provided quality education.
