Kigezi High School has suspended 24 of their Senior Four candidates over indiscipline

Kigezi High School has suspended 24 of their Senior Four candidates over indiscipline.

The students would sit UNEB examinations from outside They will report to the school accompanied by their parents.

The headmaster, John Gimuguni, on Thursday announced the decision after an impromptu meeting at the school in Rugarama.

He said the students had on Monday beaten up their teacher, Rev. Merab Nalugwa, who had found them loitering on the school compound during class hours.

Gimuguni said indisciplined candidates might perform poorly.
The Police was deployed at the school premises to monitor discipline.
