Lango Parliamentary Group chairman Yafesi Okullo Epak has said all opposition leaders in Lango sub-region would turn to support the Movement if they stopped the 17-year Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) war.

Epak urged all opposition leaders to co-operate with the Government to look for a better solution to over come the rebels.

He said, “The fact is that we should sacrifice our blood to rescue one another. If we only cry everyday without joining hands, we are going to be the losers.”

He was addressing a recent security meeting at Coronation Park in Lira Municipality.

Lango MPs were present.

Lira Municipality MP Cecilia Ogwal urged the youth to join the LDU and UPDF to fight the rebels.

Otuke MP Daniel Omara Atubo urged residents in towns to assist those who had fled the villages due to the rebel atrocities.
