‘Revive cost-sharing in teachers’ colleges’

The principal of St. John Bosco Primary Teachers' College in Yumbe district, Fr. Epiphany Odubuker Picho, has asked the Government to re-introduce cost-sharing in primary teachers’ colleges.

The principal of St. John Bosco Primary Teachers' College in Yumbe district, Fr. Epiphany Odubuker Picho, has asked the Government to re-introduce cost-sharing in primary teachers’ colleges.

He said the move would save the colleges from running into financial constraints.
Picho was recently presiding over elections of the college students’ council.

He said due to other national demands, the Government had failed to adequately fund the colleges.
