UGANDA Rugby Cranes will travel to Dubai tomorrow and not today for the International Sevens tournament slated for December 3-7. A squad of 12 players and three officials will leave Uganda aboard Emirates Air on Sunday. Uganda will make a maiden appearance at the three-day tournament that has attracted the world’s best teams.

New 18 holes
UGANDA’s third 18-hole course whose construction in Masaka is nearly complete will be unveiled to a select group of golfers today. The Tropic Inn golf club course, has been upgraded from 9 holes. The course, designed by veteran golfer Daniel Nkata, is the third 18-hole facility in the country after Kitante and the one in Entebbe.

Wakou in
PAUL Wakou and Alex Malinga will get a chance to win cash prizes as they compete against renown stars in the 2nd edition of the Lagos International Marathon - Africa’s biggest half marathon event today. Wakou, who travelled to Lagos on Tuesday and was joined by Malinga yesterday, will be competing for the jackpot prize of $15,000 (sh30m) winners prize with the continent’s best.
