REVEREND Steven Shalita has commended the Straight Talk Foundation for protecting morals and improving adolescent sexual reproductive health.
“It’s good not only to only focus on the scientific aspect but also the moral and religious points of view, which is good for the youth. This makes you a value-based NGO,†he said.
Shalita was on Tuesday speaking during a breakfast prayer dedicated to people living with HIV/AIDS at the Grand Imperial Hotel in Kampala.
The prayers were part of the activities to mark 10 years of Straight Talk newsletter.
Straight Talk communications director, Cathy Watson, emphasised the importance of faith in helping young people stay safe.
