THE dawn of Ezra Boxing Board (EBB) has caused quite a stir on the shaky Uganda Amateur Boxing Federation (UABF) executive.

THE dawn of Ezra Boxing Board (EBB) has caused quite a stir on the shaky Uganda Amateur Boxing Federation (UABF) executive.
EBB that was formulated recently took charge of the Bombers qualifiers for the Athens 2004 Olympics-courtesy of Michael Ezra (top).
But since the national boxers pitched camp in Kasese, Lugogo is not in peace. Part of the UABF executive blame their president Vincent Byarugaba for betrayal.
Byarugaba is the chairman of EBB.
A UABF executive committee meeting chaired by vice president Issa Kamoga Saturday disassociated itself from the activities of the board. “The board has hijacked the role of UABF...it should have been the executive to chose members of the board,†the letter read in part.
But when contacted yesterday Byarugaba said the board promised to sort out the matter administratively.
Sources at Lugogo said the advent of the EBB is felt as “a peaceful coupe†of former UABF boss David Agong now a key member of the board.
