Sports Promoter David Katumwa last week finalised plans with a Chinese construction company over plans to build the first high-tech academy in Uganda.

Sports Promoter David Katumwa last week finalised plans with a Chinese construction company over plans to build the first high-tech academy in Uganda.
Katumwa, proprietor of Katumwa Sports Centre, also visited leading academies in Beijing, China.
“I have finalised plans with a construction company and work will begin early next year,†Katumwa told Sunday Vision on phone from China.
The Katumwa academy will be funded by leading sportswear giants Reebok.
Ghana is also trying to convince Rebook through soccer legend Abedi Pele to have an academy started in the West African country.
