LEAF Tobacco Company Limited (LTC), makers of Supermatch cigarettes, plan to install new machinery next year to improve their efficiency and competitiveness.
LTC public relations consultant Dr. David Kamukama said on Saturday, that the imported machinery would also help cope with the latest technology.
“We expect our sales to improve with the installation of new machinery,†Kamukama said during the staff end of year party at Sports View Hotel Kireka.
Mamerito Mugerwa, the Kiira Town Council mayor, officiated at the entertainment function.
Kamukama said plans were also underway to expand their warehouses in the tobacco growing areas of Arua, Yumbe and Koboko in West Nile.
