THE Reform Agenda (RA) has appealed to Ugandans to remain peaceful throughout the Christmas and New Year festivities.

RA spokesperson Beti Kamya said on Monday during the weekly press briefing that the RA is proud to be in the service of God and the people of Uganda.

Reading from a Christmas card allegedly signed by exiled RA chairman Col. Kizza Besigye, Kamya said, “Peace, Goodwill and Happiness be yours throughout the holiday season, and have a prosperous 2004”.

She said Besigye had sent 500 such cards to prominent Ugandans, including President Yoweri Museveni and Army Commander Major Gen. Aronda Nyakairima.

An RA youth, Sam Mugumya, was last year held in Bombo Barracks for attempting to distribute among army officers similar cards from Besigye.

Moses Byaruhanga said Museveni had not received any card yet.
