COMMONWEALTH 10,000m champion Boniface Kiprop is targeting Saturday’s BUPA Great Edinburgh International Cross Country, as he makes a comeback after an unimpressive twoyear of action.
Kiprop, who has not been able to finish on a medal podium in an IAAF event ever since he became a senior three years ago, will use the international event to build stamina.
He has declared that he has completely recovered from the hip injury that had kept him down.
Kiprop, with a shoe stuck in the mud, finished second in his seasonal opener at the IAAF Permit Cross Country race in Antrim, Northern Ireland last weekend – two seconds behind Ethiopian Imane Merga.
