NATIONAL and Nkumba Marines basketball star Norman Blick has revealed his desire to return to the court but this time for league champions Sadolin Power.

The former MTN-Fuba League Most Valuable Player (MVP) last played local basketball in 2007 after a failed professional career in Qatar. “I need to get back on court.

It’s been a long time and my dream is to play and compete in regional basketball. Sadolin Power is going out and if I joined them we would go out and compete and beat teams in the region,” Blick said.

On his return from Qatar, he played for the Marines but the side did not even reach the play-offs. He requested the club to let him transfer to debutants KCC Lions but in vain and later decided not to feature for any of the sides.

Blick says his major target is to play in regional competitions such that he can reawaken his dream of playing professional basketball. Sadolin Power will represent Uganda at the Africa Zone 5 club championship in Rwanda later this year.

He is a two-time MVP award winner and the top scorer's medal winner in the local league.

The FUBA transfer windrow opens this month and goes on until the beginning of the new season in March.
