Following last week’s story in which we told you about how Steven Samba, UNICEF’s human resource manager showed off a pregnant Sheila Muwanga at FHRI’s end of year party and said he was responsible for the way she looked, we received this email from one aggrieved Rebecca Nalubwama Ssamba.
Rebecca is a Training Coordinator for United Nations World Food Programme’s upgraded information systems in Rome, Italy. She claims she is Samba’s “legally wedded wife†and, “as such no other woman should be referred to as his wife!!
“If you intend to expose his infidelity, that is another thing but do not refer to his girlfriends as his wives.†Apparently, the couple have two boys (two and six years) together.
According to Rebecca and the documents she sent, she and Samba were married in a civil wedding in Dakar, Senegal, in February 2002 and had a subsequent church wedding. We couldn’t get through to Samba.
