New Year Wedding
After the excesses of the festive season this glamorous shift dress will undoubtedly be a relief….posh enough for any upscale wedding…..you will dazzle and at the same time relax free from the constraints of last year’s body shaping outfits.

TIP:
Depending on how this dress is cut, it will camouflage a multitude of sins…from a rounded belly to fuller hips….the shorter the length the longer your legs appear….but consider this with tact…there is a very thin line between trashy and classy.

FABRIC REQUIREMENTS:
Fabrics that are ideal for this outfit are chiffon, georgette, linen, silk and satin. Bazaar can also be used and for an interesting touch why turn back to the eighties and use rich velvet.
2-2 ½ metres of double width fabric is needed for the dress if it is not cut on the bias grain. (If cut on the bias grain remember that the dress will outline your shape totally! It will reveal not conceal! )
1½ metres of scalloped lace fabric will be needed to accessorise the outfit as illustrated at the yoke and hem.
