GIFT Stephen Gidudu of Grace Boarding Primary School in Mbale district is looking forward to the sports bike his father promised him after he obtained aggregate five in the PLE.

“Whenever I could recall that promise, I would be inspired to work much harder. I expected to score aggregate four.

“But I hope dad will fulfill his promise to buy me a bike,” said Gidudu, who emerged among the best students in Mbale Municipality.

His father, Dr. Sam Wajega, told The New Vision at their home in Kamonkoli trading centre in Budaka, that Gidudu liked Science more than other subjects.

“Because he knew I was a scientist, whenever Gidudu felt he did not understand any topic in the subject, he could come to consult me. He would ask several questions and not leave until I had explained to him the topic thoroughly,” Wajega said.

Gidudu, who put his first choice at Namilyango College, wants to become a medical doctor.
