URA FC, Bunamwaya and Maroons produced a winning display yesterday to storm the Kakungulu Cup quarter-finals.

URA FC, Bunamwaya and Maroons produced a winning display yesterday to storm the Kakungulu Cup quarter-finals.

The teams joined Police, SC Villa and Simba FC in domestic soccer's second prestigious competition.

Caesar Okhuti netted a brace while 18- year- old St Mary's Kitende student Eddie Mubiru notched the other as Bunamwaya overcame first division side

Best Meals 3-1 to advance.
Bunamwaya will take on army side Simba, who had advanced earlier, for a place in the semi-finals.

Elsewhere, Martin Muwanga, Henry Kisekka and Sam Mubiru struck as URA hit Boroboro 3-1.

URA will face Maroons in Luzira.
First Division side Maroons upset Super League club Maji FC after goals by Samuel Oguttu and Felix Feni. Maji paid the price for several missed chances.

The quarterfinals will be played on February 14 and 24.
