UNIVERSAL Boxing Organisation (UBO) light welterweight champion Peter “Boyz Boyz” Semo, will challenge for another world title in April when he takes on Italy’s Brunet Zamora in Venezia, Italy.

Semo will take on the Cuban-born World Boxing Association Inter-Continental light welterweight champion on April 17 in his first world title attempt this boxing season.

“Our team is in camp and preparing for this fight as we need to start the season with a win,” Eddie Bazira, manager and promoter of the Ugandan pugilist said.

Semo, returns to the ring four months after retaining his UBO title at Lugogo.

The Stockholm-based pugilist’s record stands at (19-3-0, 14 KOs). Zamora is a highly-rated fighter who is undefeated in sixteen fights with a record of (16-0-0, 7 KOS).

Meanwhile, former International Boxing Federation (IBF) junior middleweight champion Kassim “The Dream” Ouma, is eyeing a title shot against World Boxing Organisation/North American Boxing Organisation light middleweight champion James Kirkland.

The Florida-based Ugandan fighter has expressed interest in facing the undefeated champion and is eager that his promoters put the fight on card.

Ouma last fought in October last year against journeyman Martinus Clay, registering an impressive sixth round knockout to improve his record to (26-5-1,16 KOS).
