ALL children, disabled or not, have the right to informal and formal education including early childhood education. Opening a two-day training workshop for nursery school teachers, a schools Inspector, Kulthum Masika Moshi, said the education ministry recognised the need for early childhood development offered at nursery school. The workshop was organised by Rwenzori Royal Institute.

Man held over immunisation
The Police are holding a 42-year-old man, Siraj Mbazira, for allegedly sabotaging the immunisation campaign. Bernard Babu, a criminal investigation officer, said: “This campaign was to save children from killer diseases.”

He said Mbazira was arrested after a tip-off that he did not let his wife take their child for immunisation, saying his child was suffering from asthma.
