FOR 18-year-old Faridah Wanyenya, the results of her good performance left her unconscious.

Wanyenya, a former student of Kibibi Secondary School got ABAA in History, Economics, Geography and Islam plus a distinction two in general paper in last year’s A’level exams.

“After I received the news of my results, I fainted and bruised my hand. I could not believe that I had passed because the exams were difficult” she said.

Wanyenya, who wants to read law at university, attributes her good performance to working hard.
“I had to forgo morning sleep. I used to wake up by at 3:00am to read.”

Wanyenya is grateful to her parents for supporting her throughout school and to her teachers for encouraging her.

She advises Senior Six candidates to read hard and consult the teachers, when they don’t understand.
