“FOREGOING meals has not disappointed me,” says 18-year-old Janet Tayebwa. The student of Naalya Secondary School in Bweyogerere scored AABA/1 in History, Economics, Geography and Enterprenuership.

Her brother, Hans Twinonumugisha, broke the good news to her while she was baby sitting. her sister just broke down.

“I attribute my success to my teachers who worked tirelessly with us without giving up,” said Tayebwa.

She wants to study Procurement and Supply Chain at Makerere University Business School. Her role model is Dr Maggie Kigozi, the director of Uganda Investment Authority.
