An orphan, who benefited from the State House bursary scheme, Caroline Kongai, 18, performed well in the A ’Level examinations. Kongai, who got 21 points from Namirembe Hill School, did History, Economics, Literature and Divinity and scored BDAA respect

An orphan, who benefited from the State House bursary scheme, Caroline Kongai, 18, performed well in the A ’Level examinations. Kongai, who got 21 points from Namirembe Hill School, did History, Economics, Literature and Divinity and scored BDAA respectively.

She expressed her gratitude to President Yoweri Museveni for offering her the bursary. She attributed her success to God and her parents Fabian Okurut and Teddy Acham

Kongai said having helpful teachers and constructive friends contributed to her success. She wants to study Law and advised fellow girls to be disciplined, work hard and consult teachers.She thanked her mother, Acham, for consoling her after her father died.
