THE High Court has stopped Kampala City Council (KCC) from cancelling the Kampala taxi body, UTODA’s contract to run taxi parks.
THE High Court has stopped Kampala City Council (KCC) from cancelling the Kampala taxi body, UTODA’s contract to run taxi parks.
Justice Vincent Kibuuka Musoke extended the temporary order yesterday to May 20, when the court will determine the association’s application for a permanent injunction restraining KCC from cancelling its contract.
The order followed a request by KCC’s lawyer, Rita Ssendege, for an adjournment of UTODA’s application for a permanent injunction, saying the council needed time to prepare.
