EVERY girl, even the most ‘perfect’ looking female, seems to have issues with one thing or another on their person. In the fourth of seven ‘issues’ that can be addressed with simple fashion choices, SUUBI NJUKI, helps Lara, who has a big tummy

DILEMMA
Lara is saving for surgery…she insists it is her only option. What really bothers her is her tummy….can it get any bigger?

SOLUTION
Dresses are the perfect solution for you! The trick is to avoid cutting your frame in half and, therefore, make your fuller tummy obvious. So stick with dresses of the empire cut which cuts under the bust and not your waist – for there your tummy lies.

OUTFIT
An empire cut slim A-line dress with ¾ sleeves and decorative trimming at the neck.

TIP
Figure skimming empire cut dresses are great for drawing the eye away from the tummy area to every where else…to the bust for example or the legs if the dress is short .

FABRIC REQUIREMENTS
Soft and fluid fabrics will do for this outfit for example linen, silk or satin.
(Do not attempt to get anything cut on the bias grain because nothing clings and outlines more than bias cut cloth!)

2-2½ metres of double width fabric are needed for the dress. (The taller and fuller the figure, the more the fabric required)
