SDA church leader resigns

THE Archbishop of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Pr. John Luga Wani, has resigned.

THE Archbishop of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Pr. John Luga Wani, has resigned.
“The Archbishop wrote to the president of the East and Central African Division of the church in Nairobi and he was allowed to resign alongside with the union treasurer, Elder Diosdado Largosa,†Pastor Samuel Mwebaza, the Uganda Union communications director, said.
Wani’s resignation is the first of its kind in Uganda.
The news took the faithful by surprise. Many are still asking why he resigned after nine years in office.
