IT looks like Garuga is not the only one turning heads with his investment this week. After his sprawling country mansion in Magere, off Gayaza Road, and the prized Cadillac Escalade, singer and self professed Ghetto President Bobi Wine too seems eager to expand his empire some more.

His latest project is a picturesque, cascading beach in Busaabala, about two kilometres from Speke Resort Munyonyo. The facility, it is rumoured, will be called One Love Beach, and will come off as a celebrities’ hot spot of sorts.

It boasts a small rock island that is accessible by a wooden pier that will strictly admit bikini-clad ladies and men in swim wear. Construction works and landscaping are nearly over, but official opening is likely to be in four months’ time.

However, it already hosts beach-goers over the weekends. Bobi has also bought a small engine vessel that connects him from Mulungu landing site to the beach. No word on the money invested yet.
