WILSON Tukire will lead Uganda’s assault for a podium finish during the Africa badminton championships that start today in Nairobi.
National coach Simon Mugabi sounded confident that his experienced players would inspire Uganda to the semi-final’s of the continent team event.
Tukire is seed four in the African rankings and national coach Simon Mugabi is looking at him as the pillar of Uganda’s assault, together with experienced Abraham Wogute and volatile Brian Ssuuna. They will be joined by Margaret Nankabirwa and Shamim Bangi in the team event battle.
