PETER “Boyz Boyz” Semo lost for the second time in Italy in a WBA Inter continental light welterweight title fight against Italian Brunet Zamora, on Friday night.

Referee Giuseppe Quartarone stopped the fight in the tenth round after professional boxer Semo sustained a cut above his eye off a head butt.
The Sweden-based fighter was leading on the cards in a closely contested encounter until the misfortune.

It was the second defeat for the stylish orthodox fighter in Italy, having lost there before in 2007 against Giorgio Marinelli. He however went on to beat Fedele Bellusci a year later to claim the IBF Inter continental light welterweight title.

“It’s a big blow for us to lose this title fight and we shall keep trying again and again,” Jackson Mugisha, Pro Box Scandinavia operations manager said.
Semo drops to (19-4-0, 14 KOs).
