WOODBALL - Ndejje and Makerere renew their rivalry when they face off in the MTN Inter University Woodball Championship at Munyonyo this weekend. Makerere won the East African University Games team gold for men and will be out to confirm their dominance having missed the recent Kyambogo Open. Ndejje stole the show then. According to Uganda Woodball Federation secretary Godwin Sennyondo, over 150 players are expected to compete.

Kabasanda lifts institutes’ trophy

SOCCER - Kabasanda came from 3-1 down and lifted this year’s national Vocational and Technical Institutions’ football trophy after beating Kitgum 4-3 over the weekend, in the final presided over by the acting commissioner in charge of technical education Loy Muhwezi. TAEKWONDO - Gulu has retained the Tae-kwon-do Open title for the fourth consecutive year after beating eight teams in the championships held at Nakasero Primary School. The event that attracted nine clubs, had champions Gulu grab four gold medals in the seven weight categories.
