GEORGE Nsimbe has decided to shut the door on defender Asuman Buyinza. The soft-spoken KCC FC coach took the decision yesterday after the Vietnam-bound player yet again went missing.

Buyinza had reported at the team’s training camp at Namboole on Saturday and confirmed his presence for Saturday’s CAF Champions League away tie against El Merreikh of Sudan.

“He is not a straight man. He is now out of my plans. We talked at length with him and tried to explain our position,” said Nsimbe.

“He left to pick his passport and promised to return. We have waited and waited. He is out.”

Buyinza holds a CAF license and would have been the ideal choice to replace suspended KCC defender Moses Musoke.

“He promised not to disappoint, but he has,” Nsimbe added.

Buyinza was part of KCC’s title-winning side last season.

On the evidence of the club’s tactical workout yesterday, team captain Sam Mubiru and Ausi Kaya will man the central defence, with Sam Senoga and Moses Muhindo at the left and right back positions.

Ronald Kamoga, Jeremiah Sebuyiira and Patrick Senfuka will start in midfield with Brian Umony, Robert Ssentongo and Anthony Bongole completing a three-man attack. The team will leave tomorrow for Khartoum.
