TORORO Progressive Academy (TOPA) and Kibuli SS shot themselves into the penultimate stage of the COPA Coca-Cola tournament yesterday.

The two joined holders and group A leaders St. Mary’s SS Kitende, Bishop McAllister College Kyogera and Old Kampala SS who sailed through in group E and F respectively.

TOPA grabbed a berth in the knockout stage atop group D with a 3-0 victory over Busolwe Students Centre while Old Kampala sailed through after their opponents Sironko SS unceremoniously packed their bags early yesterday.

Isaac Serunyigo made sure TOPA maintained their unbeaten streak in seven matches with a double strike that took his tally to 15 goals behind top scorer Buukya Sebuguzi of Dynamic.

First-timers Soroti SS also capped an impressive performance by beating hosts St. Leo’s College Kyegobe in group G.
