UGANDA Cranes will get the opportunity of making West African giants Ghana grateful of what they represent when their attacking philosophy that helped them to the CECAFA Challenge Cup faces a severe test in a cracking friendly on May 31.

The manner in which Cranes swaggered to their regional title in January was first class and their friendly win over Sudan more than impressive. Yet against Ghana’s Black Stars in Tamale, should come the real measure of how just good this Cranes’ side is.

Ghana will use the game as preparation for their 2010 World Cup qualifier against Mali.

GFA vice president Fred Pappoe stated: “We settled on Uganda because we think they play very athletic football and will give us the perfect preparations,” Pappoe said.

“We are also camping in Tamale because the climatic conditions there are similar to what we expect in Bamako.”
