Isiagi’s Amus storms semis

FORMER Cranes and URA defender Richard Malinga scored the only goal as Amus Kwarikwari FC, bankrolled by FUFA presidential hopeful Patrick Isiagi reached the semi-final of the Eastern Super Mini League with a 1-0 win over Bidco yesterday.

FORMER Cranes and URA defender Richard Malinga scored the only goal as Amus Kwarikwari FC, bankrolled by FUFA presidential hopeful Patrick Isiagi reached the semi-final of the Eastern Super Mini League with a 1-0 win over Bidco yesterday.
The Amus team captain, who fractured a leg before he was off-loaded at URA last season, scored the late winner for the Kumi-based team.
Alan Oryek and Salim Kiyaga netted in each half at Nakivubo as Maroons booked the final against Fire Masters in the Kampala duel tomorrow.
Northern’s Arua Central, Hoima (western) and Masaka LC from Buganda have already qualified.
