With zero, what can Otafire say?

EDITOR—Most MPs have scoffed at David Pulkol’s scorecard. Kahinda Otafire, as usual, has called it rubbish! In my assessment, Pulkol’s scorecard may have loopholes but in principle, it is a good yardstick all voters should applaud.

We need to know what goes on in Parliament and the general performance of our MPs.

We should not be surprised by the MPs’ reaction because they have been caught with their pants down. their anger is expected and understandable.

That is why those who have been rated as best performers like Erias Lukwago are not complaining. They are supportive of the scorecard. Having scored an F what comment would one expect from poor Otafire?

Let us support Pulkol to improve the methodology of his research. The principle of the scorecard is great.

EDITOR— I wish to thank the executive director of African Leadership Institute, David Pulkol, for the assessment report on our MPs.

I wish the exercise could cover the LC5s and lc3s in the districts. This might wake up those leaders who are always asleep. Bravo, Pulkol, keep it up and keep our MPs on their toes. That is the only way to go.
