MIDCOM India will look to preserve their perfect record in the NCR Twenty20 cricket tournament today and thereby progress to the semifinals but must first get past the hurdle of Arthur Kyobe’s MTN South Africa and Emmanuel Nakaana’s BMS England.

India, led by Nandi Kishore, defeated Assad Seyiga and Pakistan by four wickets in the opening match on Saturday and know that doing the same to South Africa and England would see them top group A and progress to the penultimate stage.

However, South Africa are in a similar situation and wins over India and Pakistan would put them two matches away from winning the second edition of the event.

But Pakistan, who recovered from their loss to India to defeat England by four wickets, are not out of contention. All they need is get past South Africa to get a chance to play infront of West Indies legend Brian Lara, who visits Uganda this weekend.

In group B matches at Kyambogo oval, Frank Nsubuga will lead Rwenzori Uganda against Roger Mukasa’s Calypso Boys and Akbar Baig’s East Africa, who will then face Davis Arinaitwe’s Sri Lanka in the last match.
